The 3M 7100117606 is an N95-rated disposable respirator designed for trade and industrial environments where airborne particulates are a constant concern. Rated by NIOSH at a minimum 95 percent filtration efficiency against non-oil-based particles and aerosols, it uses Advanced Electrostatic Media to capture fine particles while keeping breathing resistance low. A built-in Cool Flow exhalation valve reduces heat and moisture buildup inside the facepiece, improving wearer endurance during extended tasks. Each unit includes an adjustable M-noseclip for a secure, custom fit and stretchable braided headbands for stable positioning across work shifts. Licensed HVAC techs, plumbers, electricians, and general tradespeople use this respirator during dusty installation, demolition, and finishing work. Each pack contains 5 respirators.
This respirator is recommended for tasks that generate non-oil-based airborne particles. Typical applications include sanding bare wood, non-lead-painted surfaces, and drywall; grinding; sawing; sweeping; and installation of fiberglass insulation. It also provides filtration against pollen, mold spores, and general dust particles encountered during outdoor maintenance work such as mowing, raking, and cutting firewood. The lightweight, disposable design makes it practical for single-trade jobs and multi-task workdays alike. Contains no components made from natural rubber latex.
Designed as a disposable N95 respirator for general industrial and trade use involving non-oil-based particulates, including sanding, grinding, sawing, sweeping, and fiberglass insulation installation. For occupational and hazardous use, this respirator must be used under a government-regulated respiratory protection program such as OSHA. For non-harmful environments only in DIY or home use applications.
This respirator is donned and removed by the user — no tools are required. Before entering a dusty or particulate-laden work area, inspect the respirator for damage, seat the noseclip firmly against the nose bridge, and perform a user seal check per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 or the applicable regulatory standard. Limitations apply; misuse may result in sickness or death. Consult product packaging, the included insert, or contact 3M directly for full use and limitation guidance.
