The disc features an engineered multi-hole pattern that promotes active dust extraction, keeping the work surface cleaner and extending disc life. Open-coat construction paired with a load-resistant coating reduces clogging at P320 grit, making it well suited for fine finishing passes where surface quality matters.
This disc is intended for use with hook-and-loop compatible random orbital and orbital finishing sanders in woodworking, metal finishing, auto body prep, and general surface conditioning tasks. The multi-hole dust extraction pattern works with vacuum-assisted sanding systems to evacuate swarf and abrasive debris more efficiently than standard 5- or 6-hole configurations. The hook-and-loop attachment system allows fast disc changes and supports disc reuse, reducing downtime during production or service work. Designed for use with hook-and-loop random orbital and orbital finishing sanders equipped with a 3-inch multi-hole backup pad compatible with the disc hole pattern.
Alignment of the disc hole pattern with the backup pad holes is required for effective dust extraction. Inspect the backup pad for wear or contamination before attaching a new disc, as a degraded pad face reduces holding strength. Operate the sander at the speed recommended by the tool manufacturer for the grit and material being worked. Disconnect the sander from power before changing discs.
