The 3M 7100096111 is an aluminum oxide deburring disc designed for surface finishing, edge deburring, and light material removal on metal and other substrates. Measuring 6 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch center arbor hole, this disc mounts to compatible rotary tools and grinders for consistent, controlled stock removal. Rated to a maximum of 4000 RPM, the Very Fine grade abrasive delivers smooth results without aggressive surface damage. The maroon aluminum oxide construction provides durable, long-lasting abrasion suitable for production finishing environments. Fabricators, machinists, pipefitters, and sheet metal workers are the typical end users.
This deburring disc is suited for use on metal edges, weld seams, drilled holes, and machined surfaces where burr removal and surface blending are required. The arbor-mount design makes it compatible with angle grinders and rotary finishing tools that accept a 1/2 inch center hole disc. It is commonly used in light industrial, fabrication shop, and mechanical room applications where clean, finished edges are required before assembly or inspection.

Installation should be performed by qualified trades personnel familiar with rotary abrasive tool safety. Ensure the tool is fully powered down and unplugged before mounting or removing the disc. Verify the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 4000 RPM disc rating before operation. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and replace immediately if cracking, fraying, or delamination is observed.
