This disc is suited for both residential and light commercial fabrication environments where rapid material removal at a controlled grit level is required. Rated to 12000 RPM, it handles the output of standard 5-inch orbital sanders and grinders used in metalworking, woodworking, and composite prep. Designed for use with 5-inch orbital and random-orbit sanders and grinders equipped with a Stikiti or pressure-sensitive adhesive backup pad rated to at least 12000 RPM.
Installation of abrasive discs should be performed with the tool unplugged or the power source isolated. Confirm the tool backup pad and spindle are rated at or above the disc maximum speed of 12000 RPM before mounting. Press the disc firmly onto a clean, dry Stikiti backup pad to ensure full adhesive contact across the disc face. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc showing tears, voids, or delamination.
