The 3M 7100075675 is a coated abrasive disc built around 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology. The ceramic mineral is manufactured in a triangular shape that slices into the workpiece surface rather than plowing through it the way conventional abrasives do. The result is a disc rated to cut up to twice as fast and last up to four times longer than standard abrasive discs. At 6 inches in diameter and 180 grit, it is sized for finish-stage stock removal on metal, composites, and similar substrates. The Stikite pressure-sensitive adhesive backing mounts and dismounts quickly on compatible random orbital and disc sanders used by fabricators, welders, and metalworkers.
