The 3M 7100069441 is a toughened, two-part epoxy adhesive sold under the Scotch-Weld DP460NS designation in an off-white color. It uses a 2:1 mix ratio and delivers a 60-minute work life, giving installers and assembly technicians adequate open time for complex bonding operations. Handling strength is reached in approximately 4 hours. The non-sag formulation holds position on vertical and overhead surfaces without slumping before cure. It provides good shear and peel strength along with solid impact resistance and long-term durability, making it suitable for structural and semi-structural bonding tasks in demanding applications.
This adhesive is used in industrial, manufacturing, and trade service environments where metal, ceramic, wood, or select plastic substrates require a strong, durable bond. Typical applications include panel bonding, fixture assembly, component repair, and multi-material joints where mechanical fasteners are impractical or insufficient. The 200 mL cartridge format suits both bench and field use. A compatible 3M Scotch-Weld EPX 200 mL applicator gun and mix nozzles are required for dispensing and are not included with this cartridge.
Designed for use with the 3M Scotch-Weld EPX 200 mL applicator gun and compatible 200 mL mix nozzles, sold separately. Bonds to metals, ceramics, wood, and some plastics as stated by the manufacturer.
Surface preparation is critical before applying any structural epoxy adhesive — clean, dry, and lightly abrade bonding surfaces to maximize adhesion. Dispense using a compatible 3M EPX applicator gun to ensure accurate 2:1 mix ratio delivery through the static mix nozzle. Do not mix by hand or alter the ratio, as off-ratio mixing will compromise cure and final strength. Work in a ventilated area and follow applicable safety data sheet guidance for personal protective equipment during handling and cure.
