The pad measures 5 inches in diameter by 1/2 inches thick with a 3/4-inch profile and features 31 through-holes that align with compatible 31-hole backup pads to maintain dust extraction performance throughout the sanding pass. It is sold individually and suited for body shop and finishing environments where dust management and edge access are critical.
This interface pad is used in automotive refinishing, woodworking finishing, and surface prep applications where a standard rigid backup pad cannot conform adequately to contoured or near-edge surfaces. The foam layer increases pad conformability on curved panels and tight transitions.
