Product Description
3M 7100001804 Polyurethane Sealant 540 is a one-component, moisture-curing polyurethane sealant supplied in a 10.5 fl oz (310 mL) cartridge. It forms permanently elastic bonds and adheres to plastics, fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), sheet molding compound (SMC), aluminum, steel, coated metal and wood. The sealant provides gap-filling capability, has a skin time of approximately 60â90 minutes, is paintable after skin formation, and performs across a wide temperature range.
- One-component, moisture-curing formulation that forms permanently elastic bonds and fills gaps
- Adheres to plastics, FRP, SMC, aluminum, steel, coated metal and wood; suitable for panel bonding and joint sealing
- Physical properties: 40 Shore A hardness; skin time 60â90 minutes; full cure >3 mm per 24 hours; operating range â40°F to 194°F (â40°C to 90°C)
