The 3M 7010375312 is an acrylic adhesive transfer tape designed for bonding to a wide range of surfaces, including low-surface-energy (LSE) plastics and textured or rough substrates. The tape features a 5.0 mil acrylic adhesive layer that delivers high initial tack and durable long-term adhesion without a carrier film. It is commonly used in general-purpose surface bonding applications across manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly environments. The 60 Densified Kraft liner supports clean, accurate die-cutting operations. This tape is the thicker counterpart to the 3M 9471 and is sold in roll form.
The 7010375312 suits applications where reliable bonding to difficult or irregular surfaces is required. Its resistance to humidity, water, solvents, chemicals, and UV exposure makes it appropriate for both indoor and outdoor assemblies. The high-temperature resistance rating of up to 250 degrees F (121 degrees C) allows use in environments with elevated heat exposure. Typical users include industrial assemblers, sign fabricators, and plastics bonding technicians working with LSE substrates and foam components.
Designed as a general-purpose adhesive transfer tape for bonding to LSE plastics, foams, textured surfaces, and a broad range of substrates in industrial and fabrication applications.
Surface preparation is critical before application — clean and dry the substrate thoroughly to remove oils, dust, and contaminants. Apply firm, even pressure across the tape after placement to ensure full adhesive contact with the substrate. Die-cutting should be performed using appropriate cutting tools suited to the liner weight. Follow all applicable workplace safety guidelines when working with adhesive products in enclosed spaces.
