The 3M 7010373865 is a 10 mil transparent adhesive transfer tape built around 3M High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 100MP. This single-liner, double-sided format delivers a thin profile without sacrificing bond strength, making it well suited for precision bonding in industrial and commercial assembly work. The acrylic adhesive resists UV exposure, common chemicals, and solvents, and carries a short-term temperature tolerance of 500 degrees F and a continuous operating temperature tolerance up to 300 degrees F. The tape comes on a 58-pound unprinted polycoated kraft paper liner that supports moisture stability and clean die-cut processing.
This transfer tape is used across a broad range of indoor and outdoor bonding applications where a low-profile, high-strength adhesive layer is required. Typical uses include component lamination, nameplate attachment, gasket fabrication, and other light industrial or sign-making assembly tasks where a visible carrier tape would be unacceptable. The transparent adhesive layer remains nearly invisible after application, which matters in display and graphic assembly work. The tape ships in roll form at 0.37 inch wide by 60 yards long, and the liner construction supports efficient processing on automated or manual die-cutting equipment.
Designed as a general-purpose adhesive transfer tape suitable for a wide variety of bonding and laminating applications across industrial, commercial, and sign-making environments.
Surface preparation is critical before applying any pressure-sensitive transfer tape — clean and dry substrate surfaces free of oil, dust, and loose material will yield the best bond strength. Apply firm, even pressure across the full bonded area after positioning to ensure full adhesive contact. Power down or de-energize any equipment before applying tape in electrical or electromechanical assemblies. Consult the liner removal and die-cutting guidelines appropriate to your production process to avoid adhesive contamination or liner tearing.
