The 3M 7010372411 is an adhesive transfer tape designed for bonding metals and high surface energy (HSE) plastics in industrial and graphic attachment applications. It uses 3M 200MP acrylic adhesive, a 2 mil nominal adhesive layer that delivers high shear strength to resist slippage and edge lifting. The tape is temporarily repositionable before final bond, which improves placement accuracy and reduces rework. A 4.2 mil PCK layflat liner provides dimensional stability by preventing curling, buckling, and rippling during storage, processing, and shipping. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and general contractors as well as sign and graphics installers rely on this tape for clean, precise bonding in demanding environments.
This tape is suited for general industrial joining, graphic attachment, and assembly operations where a thin, transparent, high-strength adhesive layer is required. The 200MP acrylic adhesive performs reliably after exposure to humidity and temperature cycling, making it appropriate for both indoor controlled environments and applications subject to environmental variation. The 9.75 inch roll width accommodates wider substrates or allows multiple narrower strips to be cut from a single roll.

Surface preparation is critical before application — clean bonding surfaces with an appropriate solvent to remove oils, dust, and contaminants. Apply firm, even pressure across the tape after positioning to ensure full adhesive contact with both substrates. Cut the tape with a sharp blade or die cutter to avoid tearing the adhesive layer or liner. Allow adequate dwell time per the application conditions before subjecting the bond to shear or peel loads.
