The 3M 7010368537 is a high-strength non-woven nylon abrasive disc designed for light deburring, surface cleaning, and final finishing on metalwork. Built on a dense, open-web construction with Aluminum Oxide mineral, it delivers a consistent, smear-free scratch pattern on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The disc measures 10 inches in diameter with a 1/2-inch arbor hole. Its stiff nylon matrix resists folding under pressure and stays open to resist loading, making it a reliable choice for production-rate edgework and irregular surface profiles. Metal fabricators, maintenance machinists, and industrial finishing technicians are the primary installers of this disc type.
This disc is suited for light deburring and final finishing applications in metal fabrication, maintenance, and surface prep environments. The open-web structure handles irregular surfaces and edges without gouging the substrate. It performs on aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, and other common shop metals. The Buff and Blend HS line is available in three grades — Coarse (CRS, green), Medium (MED, blue), and Very Fine (VFN, maroon) — allowing the technician to match aggressiveness to the finish requirement. This listing covers one disc sold individually (each).
Designed as a center-hole non-woven abrasive disc for use with angle grinders, disc sanders, and finishing machines fitted with a 1/2-inch arbor and capable of accepting a 10-inch diameter disc.
Installation of abrasive discs should be performed by qualified machinists or fabricators following the machine manufacturer's guard and RPM rating requirements. Always verify the disc's maximum operating speed does not exceed the rated speed of the drive tool before mounting. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing the disc. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and replace immediately if tearing or delamination is observed.
