The 3M 7010368534 is a non-woven nylon abrasive disc designed for light deburring, surface cleaning, and final finishing on metal workpieces. Built from high-strength nylon web impregnated with Aluminum Oxide mineral, the disc maintains stiffness under pressure without folding, tearing, or fraying. At 4 inches in diameter with a 1/4-inch arbor hole, it mounts directly to right-angle grinders and die grinders. The open-web construction resists loading, so debris does not clog the abrasive surface during extended use. This disc is a center-hole style from the Buff and Blend HS product line, optimized for consistent, smear-free results on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
This disc is suited for metal fabrication, maintenance, and finishing applications where a controlled, repeatable scratch pattern is required. Typical use cases include pre-weld cleaning, post-weld blending, light deburring of machined edges, and surface prep before coating or inspection. The Aluminum Oxide mineral cuts aggressively enough to remove surface contaminants while remaining gentle enough to preserve substrate geometry. It is available in three grades: Coarse (green), Medium (blue), and Very Fine (maroon), allowing the technician to match aggressiveness to the task.
Designed as a center-hole non-woven abrasive disc for use with right-angle grinders and die grinders accepting a 1/4-inch arbor attachment on ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces.
Installation and disc changes should be performed by a qualified technician with the grinder powered down and unplugged or locked out per applicable safety procedures. Verify that the tool spindle speed rating meets or exceeds the disc maximum rated speed before mounting. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc that shows signs of tearing or delamination. Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required during operation.
