This wheel is installed by machinists, fabricators, and metalworking technicians on bench grinders, angle grinders, or dedicated unitized wheel machines using a separately sold mandrel.
The 500 Series wheel suits applications where strict dimensional tolerances must be maintained after blending or finishing operations. Silicon carbide mineral cuts effectively on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, exotic alloys, titanium, and composites. The wheel runs clockwise or counterclockwise, providing flexibility across different machine configurations.
