The 3M 7010366060 is a convolute deburring wheel engineered for aggressive material removal and surface conditioning on metal workpieces. Built with aluminum oxide abrasive at a density of 7 and a hard grade construction, this wheel delivers consistent cut and durability across extended use cycles. The convolute design bonds abrasive material throughout the wheel body rather than on the surface alone, maintaining cutting action as the wheel wears. At a maximum rated speed of 6,000 RPM, it suits a range of powered deburring and finishing applications. Metalworking shops, fabrication facilities, and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers and operators.
This wheel is suited for deburring, edge blending, and surface conditioning on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in both production and job-shop environments. Its 6 inch diameter and 2 inch face width make it a practical choice for centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. The 1 inch center hole accommodates standard arbors, and mandrel and adapter compatibility includes sizes 3 and 5, broadening its fit across common shop equipment configurations.
Compatible with centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. Accepts mandrel and adapter sizes 3 and 5. Center hole diameter of 1 inch fits standard arbor configurations on listed equipment types.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified metalworking or maintenance personnel familiar with abrasive wheel safety. Always power down and de-energize the machine before mounting or removing the wheel. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and never exceed the rated maximum speed of 6,000 RPM. Follow ANSI B7.1 safety requirements for the use, care, and protection of abrasive wheels.
