The 3M 7010366035 is a unitized deburring wheel designed for light-to-moderate surface finishing and edge deburring on metal workpieces. Built with silicon carbide abrasive at a fine grade and a soft density 2 construction, the wheel conforms to contoured and flat surfaces while removing burrs, light oxidation, and machining marks. At 6 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch face width and a 3/4 inch center hole, it mounts to standard arbors and fits a range of stationary and portable grinding equipment. Maximum rated speed is 5,000 RPM. Licensed tradespeople and machinist technicians use this wheel for finishing operations where consistent, controlled material removal is required.
This deburring wheel is suited for metal fabrication and machining environments, including job shops, maintenance facilities, and production lines. Its unitized, non-woven construction makes it appropriate for finishing stainless steel, aluminum, and ferrous metals where minimal base-metal removal is the goal. Compatible tooling includes centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands, covering both benchtop and handheld applications.
Compatible with centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands equipped with a 3/4 inch arbor and capable of operating at or below 5,000 RPM.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician familiar with abrasive wheel mounting procedures. Always power down and de-energize the tool before mounting or removing the wheel. Verify that the spindle speed of the host machine does not exceed the 5,000 RPM maximum rated speed of the wheel before operation. Inspect the wheel for visible damage before each use and follow all applicable ANSI B7.1 safety standards for the use, care, and protection of abrasive wheels.
