The 3M 7010366025 is a Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel designed for aggressive deburring, blending, and finishing on harder metals. Measuring 1.5 inches in diameter with a 3/16 inch arbor, it is constructed from tightly layered, non-woven material impregnated with aluminum oxide abrasive mineral. The unitized construction holds its shape throughout the wheel life, delivering consistent cut and finish from first use to last. At 0.01 pounds, it is lightweight and suited for portable tool applications. Machinists, fabricators, and metal finishing technicians use this wheel where controlled, repeatable surface work is required on stainless steel, carbon steel, and high nickel alloys.
This wheel is built for metal fabrication and finishing environments where portability and small-diameter tooling are necessary. Its narrow width and compact diameter make it practical for accessing tight areas, inside contours, and edge work. The aluminum oxide mineral provides fast stock removal while the flexible non-woven construction helps prevent undercutting or gouging on finished surfaces. It is well suited for shops working with harder metals that require a bright, consistent finish after deburring or blending operations.
Designed for use with rotary tools and portable grinders accepting a 3/16 inch arbor; suitable for deburring, blending, and finishing operations on stainless steel, carbon steel, and high nickel alloys.
Install on a rotary tool or die grinder fitted with a 3/16 inch mandrel. Confirm the tool RPM rating does not exceed the wheel maximum rated speed before operation. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or removing the wheel. Inspect the wheel for damage prior to each use and do not use wheels that show signs of cracking or delamination.
