The 3M 7010365996 is a non-woven surface conditioning disc designed for deburring, blending, cleaning, and finishing metal and other surfaces. It uses aluminum oxide abrasive in a medium grade and measures 1 inch in diameter. The open-web, non-woven fiber construction conforms to irregular and contoured surfaces without removing base material, making it well suited for detail work on complex geometries. The disc mounts via the Roloc quick-change attachment system, allowing fast swaps during multi-step finishing operations. Metalworkers, fabricators, and maintenance technicians typically use this disc with right-angle die grinders and inline grinders in both shop and field settings.
This disc is intended for surface preparation, light deburring, edge blending, and finish work on metal components. The Roloc-style backing provides firm support for more aggressive cutting passes while the non-woven construction keeps heat buildup low, which helps maintain consistent surface finishes across a workpiece. It is appropriate for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals where controlled material removal and repeatable finish quality are required. Sold individually, it is commonly purchased in quantity for production and maintenance environments.
Designed for use with Roloc-compatible quick-change grinder systems. Verify spindle compatibility with your tool before use.
Installation and disc changes should be performed with the grinder powered off and disconnected from its air or electrical supply. Attach the disc by aligning the Roloc stem with the grinder spindle and pressing firmly until the retention mechanism engages. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and do not exceed the maximum RPM rating for the disc. Follow applicable ANSI and OSHA standards for abrasive wheel use and always wear appropriate eye and face protection.
