The 3M 7010365361 is a Scotch-Brite CF-DC Clean and Finish Disc designed for surface blending, cleaning, and polishing across a wide range of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, wood, and fiberglass. The disc measures 11.25 inches in diameter and is rated for up to 1900 RPM. Its non-woven, three-dimensional web structure combines conformable material with soft abrasive mineral to produce a consistent finish without undercutting or damaging the base material. Installed by metalworkers, fabricators, and finishing technicians, this disc mounts to a random orbital sander using a Hookit backup pad.
This disc is suited for light coating removal, corrosion removal, surface blending, and finish work on contoured or flat surfaces. The open web construction resists loading and rinses clean, allowing repeated use across production or field finishing operations. Common applications include prep work on aluminum and stainless steel fabrications, fiberglass panels, and painted or coated surfaces requiring a uniform finish prior to re-coating or inspection. It is sold individually and is appropriate for both shop and field use where controlled, consistent surface conditioning is required.
Designed for use with random orbital sanders equipped with a Hookit backup pad. Suitable for use on aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, wood, and fiberglass surfaces.
Mounting and disc changes should be performed with the sander disconnected from its power source. Verify that the backup pad and sander are rated to at least the disc maximum speed of 1900 RPM before operation. Inspect the disc for wear or damage before each use and replace if the abrasive mineral is depleted or the web is torn. Follow applicable shop safety requirements for respiratory and eye protection when performing surface finishing work.
