The 3M 7010365339 is a Trizact 337DC coated abrasive belt designed for intermediate to final finish work in medium-pressure grinding and finishing applications. Built on a durable X-weight cloth backing with aluminum oxide mineral and a grinding aid, this belt delivers controlled, predictable cut rates from start to finish. The macroreplicated abrasive structure contains multiple layers of mineral arranged in three-dimensional bricks, which wear down in a controlled, consistent manner rather than loading up unpredictably. The grinding aid actively reduces heat buildup, making this belt well suited for dry grinding operations where workpiece temperature is a concern. The belt measures 132 inches in length and 2 inches in width and weighs 0.69 pounds.
This belt is used across metalworking applications where operators need to move from rough stock removal to a refined surface finish without swapping belts. The channel geometry between the abrasive bricks evacuates swarf continuously, keeping the work surface cleaner and extending cut life. Typical applications include weld blending, deburring, and surface conditioning on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is well suited for use on belt grinders and finishing machines in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and production environments. The X-weight cloth backing handles flex and tension in high-contact-pressure scenarios without tearing or delaminating prematurely.
Designed as an OEM-style abrasive belt replacement for belt grinders and finishing machines that accept a 132-inch by 2-inch belt configuration.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator following the machine manufacturer's belt-change procedure. Power down and lock out the grinding machine before removing the worn belt or installing a new one. Confirm belt tracking alignment and tension before resuming operation. Always wear appropriate PPE, including eye protection and gloves, when handling or operating abrasive belts.
