The 3M 7010365306 is a non-woven surface conditioning low stretch belt designed for finishing, blending, and light material removal across a range of metal and composite substrates. Built on a durable cloth and polyester scrim backing, this belt resists stretching under tension, making it well suited for consistent, controlled surface work. The open web construction of the non-woven nylon fibers resists loading, which extends abrasive service life and reduces downtime for belt changes. At 120 inches long and 9 inches wide, it fits wide-belt finishing machines used in fabrication and metal service shops. Aluminum oxide mineral with a resin bond provides reliable cutting action without aggressive marring of the workpiece surface.
This belt is intended for use in metal fabrication, welding shops, and industrial finishing environments where surface conditioning rather than heavy stock removal is the primary goal. Its moderate durability and flexibility make it effective mid-sequence in multi-step finishing operations, including work on stainless steel, brass, and other metal substrates. It is well suited for applications where maintaining the geometry of the workpiece is critical. Fabricators and metal finishers are the primary installers and users of this belt.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-fit belt for wide-belt surface conditioning machines accepting 120-inch by 9-inch non-woven abrasive belts.
Belt installation should be performed by a qualified machine operator following the equipment manufacturer's belt-change procedure. Power down and lock out the machine before removing or installing any abrasive belt. Confirm belt tracking adjustment after installation and before resuming production. Inspect the contact drum and platen for wear before fitting a new belt.
