The 3M 7010365187 is a flexible diamond QRS cloth disc engineered for grinding hard-to-cut materials that standard abrasives struggle to handle. The disc uses micron-graded diamond mineral bonded with a metal bond system, delivering aggressive cutting action and consistent scratch patterns on demanding substrates including stone, glass, ceramics, carbides, and composites. A semi-flexible backing allows the disc to conform to edges and contoured surfaces, maintaining consistent contact and cut rate. The quick-release (QRS) attachment system speeds up disc changes on compatible tools. At 4 inches in diameter with a 1-inch arbor, this disc fits standard angle grinders and disc sanders used in fabrication and finishing work.
This disc is suited for professional fabricators, glaziers, tile and stone installers, composites technicians, and tool-and-die shops working with materials that defeat conventional aluminum oxide or silicon carbide abrasives. Typical applications include edge grinding and surface finishing on glass panels, ceramic tile, carbide tooling, and engineered stone. The open dot mineral pattern allows swarf and debris to clear the cutting face, reducing loading and extending usable disc life during sustained grinding passes. It is sold individually and is intended for production or shop environments where precise scratch control on hard substrates is required.
Designed for use with QRS-compatible disc sanders and angle grinders accepting a 4-inch diameter disc with a 1-inch arbor. Intended for use on hard-to-grind materials including stone, glass, ceramics, carbides, and composites.
Install and replace abrasive discs only after the tool is powered off and unplugged or locked out per applicable safety procedures. Verify the tool spindle speed does not exceed the rated speed marked on the disc before operation. Wear appropriate eye protection, a dust mask rated for fine particulate, and gloves when grinding hard materials such as glass or carbide. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc showing cuts, tears, or separation of the backing.
