The 3M 7010365018 is a Trizact 307EA cloth abrasive belt engineered for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications. It uses microreplication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into precise three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to a flexible rayon backing. As the pyramids wear down during use, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed at the cutting surface. The result is a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine surface finish from the first pass to the last. At 132 inches long and 2 inches wide, this belt is sized for wide-belt and stroke-belt finishing equipment found in industrial and metalworking environments.
This belt is suited for robotic and automated finishing lines as well as manual stroke sanding applications. The flexible rayon backing conforms to contoured and profiled workpieces, maintaining consistent contact across irregular surfaces. It is particularly effective in intermediate finishing steps before plating, buffing, or final polish stages on metal components. Fabricators, metalworkers, and industrial finishing technicians working with stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals commonly specify this belt where tight surface finish tolerances are required prior to downstream surface treatment processes.
Designed for use on wide-belt, stroke-belt, and automated finishing equipment that accepts a 132-inch by 2-inch abrasive belt. Suitable for metalworking applications requiring fine intermediate finishing prior to plating or buffing.
Installation should be performed by qualified finishing equipment operators or maintenance technicians. Power down and lock out the finishing machine before changing belts. Verify belt tracking alignment and tension according to the equipment manufacturer's specifications before resuming operation. Inspect the platen or contact drum for wear that could cause uneven belt loading or premature failure.
