The 3M 7010365016 is a Trizact 307EA coated abrasive belt engineered for intermediate finishing and fine polishing in demanding production environments. It uses microreplication technology to form micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral into uniform three-dimensional pyramids bonded to a flexible rayon cloth backing. As the abrasive surface wears during use, fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed, maintaining a consistent cut rate and producing repeatable, fine finishes from start to finish. The belt measures 132 inches in length and 4 inches in width and weighs 0.47 pounds. It is suited to both manual and robotic finishing operations where consistent surface quality is critical.
This belt is designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications on metal surfaces prior to plating or buffing operations. The flexible rayon cloth backing conforms to contoured and irregular surfaces, making it effective for grinding and finishing passes on components that require a controlled, predictable final surface finish. The three-dimensional abrasive structure supports highly repeatable results in automated robotic finishing lines as well as manual bench and backstand operations across metalworking and fabrication environments.
Designed for use on standard backstand, grinder, and automated belt finishing equipment accepting a 132 inch by 4 inch abrasive belt. Suitable for metal finishing operations prior to plating or buffing processes.
Belt installation and tensioning should be performed by a trained operator following the equipment manufacturer guidelines. Confirm the machine is fully powered down and de-energized before mounting or replacing the belt. Verify belt tracking after initial startup and adjust according to the machine manufacturer instructions before resuming production. Appropriate eye, face, and hand protection should be worn during belt changes and operation.
