It uses 3M microreplication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X-weight cloth backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear down during use, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed at the cutting surface. The result is a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine finish throughout the belt's service life. The belt measures 60 inches in length and 3 inches in width and weighs 0.25 pounds.
