The 3M 7010364852 is a Trizact 237AA abrasive belt designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications in industrial and manufacturing environments. It uses 3M microreplication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral is formed into three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X-weight cloth backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear during use, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed at the cutting surface. This self-renewing action delivers a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine surface finish throughout the life of the belt. At 118 inches long and 4 inches wide, the belt is sized for wide-contact industrial grinding and finishing machines.
This belt is intended for use in robotic and automated finishing lines as well as manual grinding setups where consistent, repeatable results are required. Typical applications include intermediate finishing and fine polishing of metal components prior to plating, buffing, or coating. The flexible cloth backing allows the abrasive to conform to contoured surfaces, making it well suited for shaped or irregular workpieces. It produces finer surface finishes than conventional electrostatically coated abrasive belts of comparable grit ratings.

Installation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with industrial abrasive equipment. Power down and lock out the grinding or finishing machine before changing belts, following OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Confirm belt tracking alignment and tension per the machine manufacturer specifications before resuming operation. Inspect the belt for tears or edge damage before each use and replace if defects are found.
