Built with a high concentration of aluminum oxide mineral, this wheel cuts fast and delivers a consistent bright finish from first use through the full life of the wheel. At 3 inches in diameter with a 1/4 inch arbor, it fits compact right-angle grinders and die grinders commonly used in fabrication and finishing work. Machinists, fabricators, and metal finishing technicians install this wheel where portability and small tool access are required.
This unitized wheel is suited for work on stainless steel, carbon steel, and high nickel alloys in both shop and field settings. Its small diameter and narrow width make it a practical choice for tight-clearance applications, inside corners, and contoured surfaces where larger wheels cannot reach. Installation of abrasive wheels should be performed by a trained operator following applicable ANSI B11 and OSHA abrasive wheel safety standards. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or changing the wheel. Confirm that the tool RPM rating meets or exceeds the maximum rated speed of the wheel before operation. Inspect the wheel for damage before each use and do not use a wheel that shows cracks, chips, or deformation.
