The 3M 7010364345 is a Scotch-Brite High Strength non-woven abrasive disc built for general-purpose surface conditioning in trade and industrial environments. Constructed from a durable, open-web nylon material impregnated with aluminum oxide abrasive, the disc is engineered to clean, deburr, denib, defuzz, and produce satin finishes on metal surfaces. The open-web construction resists loading and runs cool, which keeps the abrasive cutting consistently throughout the full service life of the disc. At 3 inches in diameter with a 3/4 inch arbor hole, it mounts to standard right-angle grinders and die grinders used in HVAC, plumbing, and general metalwork applications.
This disc is suited for use on a wide variety of metals in both residential and light commercial settings. Typical applications include surface prep before welding or brazing, deburring cut pipe or sheet metal edges, and achieving consistent satin finishes on exposed metal components. The conformable disc construction allows it to follow contoured or irregular surfaces without gouging. Multiple discs can be stacked on the same arbor to cover larger surface areas or increase cutting aggressiveness when the job demands it.
Designed for use with standard right-angle grinders and die grinders accepting a 3/4 inch arbor. Compatible with general metalworking, HVAC fabrication, and plumbing surface prep workflows requiring a 3 inch non-woven conditioning disc.
Installation and disc changes should be performed with the tool unplugged or air supply disconnected. Verify the grinder or die grinder is rated for the disc diameter and operating speed before mounting. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc that shows tearing or deformation. Follow applicable ANSI B7.1 safety standards for abrasive wheel mounting and use.
