The 3M 7010364296 is a silicon carbide convolute deburring wheel built for aggressive surface finishing and edge preparation on metal workpieces. The convolute construction bonds abrasive grain throughout the wheel in a wound, layered form, delivering consistent cut and finish as the wheel wears. At 10 inches in diameter with a 1-inch face width and a 5-inch center hole, it mounts on stationary machinery spindles and arbors. Rated to 3,600 RPM, the hard-density-8 structure is suited to fine-grade deburring, blending, and light stock removal where surface consistency matters. Licensed machinists, tool-room technicians, and metalworking professionals are the primary installers and operators.
This wheel is used in stationary bench or pedestal grinder setups for deburring stamped, machined, or cast metal parts in job-shop, fabrication, and production environments. The fine silicon carbide abrasive makes it well matched to ferrous and non-ferrous metals where a controlled, consistent finish is needed after machining or forming operations. It is compatible with mandrel and adapter size 356, per manufacturer specification. MOQ is 1 unit, and it ships as a single unit per package.
Designed for use with stationary machinery. Compatible with mandrel and adapter size 356 as specified by the manufacturer. Verify spindle arbor size and RPM rating of the host machine before mounting.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists or shop technicians familiar with abrasive wheel safety standards, including ANSI B7.1. Always power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing the wheel. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and confirm the machine spindle speed does not exceed the 3,600 RPM maximum rating. Use the correct flanges and blotters as required by the wheel and machine manufacturer.
