The 3M 7010363298 is a Type 29 ceramic flap disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal, weld seams, and fabricated steel. The angled flap design of the Type 29 geometry allows the disc to conform to flat and contoured work surfaces, making it well suited for blending and grinding in a single pass. Running on a 5/8-11 arbor at up to 13,300 RPM, this disc uses ceramic abrasive grain bonded to a cloth backing, which provides consistent cut rate and extended disc life under sustained pressure. At 40 grit, it delivers very coarse stock removal appropriate for heavy grinding applications.

This disc is used primarily in metal fabrication shops, structural steel work, and pipe fitting environments where rapid material removal is required.
