The 3M 7010362544 is a Roloc Cool Running Disc Pad designed for use with TS and TSM style disc systems. It measures 2 inches in diameter with a 1/4-20 internal thread mount. The pad features internal holes and channels that allow air to flow through during operation, reducing heat concentration at the work surface. This makes it well suited for grinding, finishing, or sanding applications where friction and heat buildup are concerns. The pad is also compatible with vacuum shroud tooling, allowing dust to be picked up from around the pad perimeter for cleaner work environments. Trade professionals and industrial users install this pad as a backing for Roloc abrasive discs.
This disc pad is used in metalworking, fabrication, and surface preparation applications where heat management and dust control are priorities. It is compatible with pneumatic or electric angle tools that accept TS and TSM Roloc-style attachments. The vacuum shroud compatibility makes it a practical choice in environments where airborne particulate control is required, such as enclosed fabrication shops or job sites with ventilation restrictions. It is sold individually and is appropriate for both production and maintenance use cases.
Designed for use with TS and TSM Roloc disc systems on tools equipped with vacuum shrouds. Accepts 2-inch Roloc abrasive discs with a 1/4-20 internal thread spindle connection.
Installation is performed by threading the pad onto the tool spindle and hand-tightening to the 1/4-20 internal thread. Power down and disconnect the tool from the air supply or electrical source before mounting or removing the pad. Ensure the abrasive disc is fully seated and locked onto the Roloc attachment before operating the tool. Follow the tool manufacturer's RPM rating and do not exceed the maximum rated speed for the pad.
