The 3M 7010361725 is a coated abrasive cloth belt designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and woodworking applications. Built on an X-weight cloth backing, it delivers the rigidity needed for heavy sanding and grinding passes. The aluminum oxide abrasive mineral cuts fast and holds up across a range of substrates including steel, ferrous metals, and wood. At 48 inches long and 9 inches wide, the belt suits wide belt sanders, edge sanders, and portable belt sanding equipment. A resin bond system resists high heat and pressure, extending belt life in demanding production and shop environments. Licensed HVAC, metalworking, and general trade shops use this belt for surface prep and finishing work.
This belt is rated P150 grit, placing it in the fine finishing range for metal deburring and surface smoothing prior to coating or final inspection. It is suited for wide belt machines, edge sanding setups, and portable belt sanders. The tube-shaped band design also allows it to fit onto a rubber expander wheel attachment used with a die grinder or rotary drill, making it useful for contouring inner and outer profiles, removing parting lines, and cleaning up casting imperfections. Sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 20 units per order.
Designed for use on wide belt sanders, edge sanders, and portable belt sanding machines that accept a 48 inch by 9 inch belt. The belt also fits rubber expander wheel attachments compatible with standard die grinders and rotary drills.
Install and replace abrasive belts with the machine fully powered down and disconnected from its power source. Verify belt tracking and tension according to the equipment manufacturer guidelines before resuming operation. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when handling and changing belts. Inspect the belt for tears or delamination before each use and discard damaged belts immediately.
