The 3M 7010361234 is a Trizact 307EA coated abrasive belt designed for precision intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications. It uses 3M microreplication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into structured pyramids and bonded to a flexible rayon cloth backing. As the pyramids wear during use, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed. This produces a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine surface finish across the full life of the belt. The belt measures 72 inches in length and 1 inch in width. It is installed and operated by machinists, metal fabricators, and finishing technicians working with automated or robotic belt grinding systems.
This belt is suited for intermediate finishing and fine polishing operations prior to plating or buffing on metal workpieces. The flexible rayon cloth backing conforms to contoured and irregular surfaces, making it appropriate for both flat stock and shaped components. The structured abrasive design is particularly effective in robotic and automated finishing lines where consistent, repeatable surface finishes are required across high production volumes. It outperforms conventional electrostatically coated abrasives in finish consistency throughout abrasive life.
