It uses proprietary microreplication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into precisely shaped pyramids and bonded to a JE-weight rayon cloth backing. As the pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed, producing a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine surface finish from the first pass to the last. The belt is 37 inches long and 2.37 inches wide and weighs 0.14 pounds. It is used by metal finishing technicians, fabricators, and automated system operators.
This belt is designed for light to moderate pressure finishing on metal components prior to plating, buffing, or coating.
