The 3M 7010360550 is an aluminum oxide coated abrasive cloth belt designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and woodworking applications. Running at P180 grit, it delivers a controlled cut suitable for finishing and surface refinement on metal substrates and wood. The belt measures 60 inches in length and 25 inches in width, making it a wide-format option for production sanding operations. X-weight cloth backing provides the rigidity and durability needed under heavy sanding pressure, while the resin bond holds up against high heat generated during continuous use. Installers and shop technicians working with wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanders will find this belt suited for demanding material removal and surface prep work.
This belt is intended for use in wide belt sanding machines, edge sanders, and portable belt sanders across both metal and wood applications. It is particularly well suited for deburring fabricated metal parts, removing parting lines and surface imperfections, and general surface preparation on metal substrates. The tube-shaped band design also allows the belt to fit onto a rubber expander wheel attachment for use with a die grinder or rotary drill, expanding its range in contour and detail work. Minimum order quantity is 5 belts per unit of measure.
Designed for use with wide belt sanders, edge sanders, portable belt sanders, and rubber expander wheel attachments on die grinders or rotary drills. Suitable for metal and wood substrates.
Belt installation should be performed with the sanding machine powered off and fully de-energized. Verify belt tracking and tensioning per the equipment manufacturer guidelines before operation. Inspect the belt for tears or edge damage prior to each use. Proper personal protective equipment including eye protection and gloves is recommended when handling and changing abrasive belts.
