The 3M 7010360540 is an aluminum oxide cloth abrasive belt from the 341D series, designed for demanding metal deburring, general metalworking, and woodworking applications. At 107 inches long and 6 inches wide, this belt is built for wide belt, edge, and portable belt sanding operations. The X-weight cloth backing handles heavy sanding and grinding loads, while the resin bond system resists the high heat and pressure generated during aggressive material removal. At P120 grit, it delivers a balance of cut rate and surface finish suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as wood substrates. Licensed trades and production grinding operators reach for this belt when consistent stock removal and extended service life matter.
This belt is suited for industrial and shop environments where wide belt sanders, edge sanders, or portable belt machines are in use. It performs on metal substrates including steel and aluminum for deburring, blending, and surface prep work, as well as wood for furniture and millwork applications. The tube-shaped band construction also allows it to fit onto a rubber expander wheel attachment for use with a die grinder or rotary drill, making it adaptable to contour and inside-radius work. Minimum order quantity is 20 units per purchase.
Designed for use on wide belt sanders, edge sanders, and portable belt sanding equipment where a 107-inch by 6-inch belt is specified. Also fits rubber expander wheel attachments used with die grinders or rotary drills for contour work.
Belt installation should be performed by qualified operators following the machine manufacturer's guidelines for belt tracking and tension. Power down and lock out the sanding machine before mounting or removing the belt. Inspect the belt for tears or delamination before each use and do not operate beyond the machine's rated speed. Eye protection and appropriate respiratory equipment should be worn during sanding operations per applicable workplace safety standards.
