The 3M 7010360369 is a Trizact 237AA abrasive belt designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications. It uses 3M microreplication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into precise three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear down during use, fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed, delivering a consistent cut rate and a predictable fine finish from start to finish. The flexible cloth backing conforms to contoured surfaces. This belt is suited for metalworking professionals and industrial finishing operations requiring repeatable surface quality prior to plating or buffing.
This belt is used in intermediate and fine finishing applications on metal workpieces where surface consistency is critical. It performs well in both manual and robotic grinding and polishing operations. The three-dimensional abrasive structure is especially well-suited to automated systems where consistent finish quality must be maintained across high-volume production runs.
