The 3M 7010360151 is a Trizact 237AA abrasive belt engineered for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications. It uses 3M proprietary microreplication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral is formed into uniform three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X-weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear during use, fresh sharp cutting edges are continuously exposed, delivering a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine surface finish throughout the life of the belt. Measuring 60 inches in length and 1 inch in width, this belt is well suited for automated and robotic finishing lines where finish repeatability is critical.
This belt is designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing steps prior to plating or buffing operations. Its flexible cloth backing conforms to contoured workpiece surfaces, making it applicable across flat stock, tubing, and complex profiles. The three-dimensional abrasive structure produces finer finishes than conventional electrostatically coated abrasives, reducing the number of finishing steps required.
