The 3M 7010360150 is a Trizact 237AA coated abrasive belt designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing in industrial and fabrication environments. It uses 3M microreplication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral is formed into uniform three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X-weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear during use, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed, producing a consistent cut rate and a predictable fine finish throughout the life of the belt. At 168 inches long and 6 inches wide, this belt is sized for large-format grinding and finishing equipment used in automated or robotic polishing lines.
This belt is suited for metal fabrication shops, aerospace component finishing, and precision manufacturing where surface finish consistency is critical before plating or buffing operations. The flexible cloth backing conforms to contoured workpiece geometry, making it appropriate for both flat stock and complex profiles. It is commonly installed on wide-belt finishing machines and robotic abrasive systems where repeatable, fine surface finishes are required across high production volumes.
