The 3M 7010359744 is a coated abrasive belt designed for aggressive stock removal on metal, wood, and composite surfaces. Running 3 inches wide and 132 inches long, this belt fits large stationary belt grinders and wide-belt finishing machines. The abrasive is ceramic aluminum oxide, a self-sharpening grain that fractures during use to expose fresh cutting edges, sustaining cut rate over the life of the belt. At 36 grit, the belt falls in the very coarse grade range, making it well suited for weld blending, rapid material removal, and surface prep before stepping down to finer grits. A closed-coat density ensures maximum abrasive coverage across the full belt face.
