The 3M 7010350095 is a modified polychloroprene heat shrink tubing designed for applications requiring a tough, highly flexible protective covering. Sold in a 50-foot spool, this tubing provides superior cut-through and abrasion resistance and remains unaffected by common fluids and solvents. Resistance to oils is excellent. The tubing maintains flexibility at low temperatures and can be marked using hot-stamp and print-wheel methods. When heated above 135 degrees C (275 degrees F), NST tubing rapidly shrinks to a skintight fit. Rated for continuous operation from -70 degrees C (-94 degrees F) to 121 degrees C (250 degrees F), it suits demanding thermal and chemical environments.
This tubing is appropriate for electrical, mechanical, and general industrial applications where durable, flexible insulation or bundling protection is needed. It is commonly used to protect wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and component leads from abrasion, moisture, and fluid exposure. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals install this tubing wherever a resilient, heat-shrinkable sleeve is required. The 50-foot spool format supports larger jobs and reduces the need for frequent resupply on active job sites.
Designed as a general-purpose heat shrink sleeving solution for electrical, HVAC, and industrial wiring and cable protection applications requiring flexible, chemically resistant tubing.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or qualified HVAC and industrial technicians. De-energize all circuits before applying heat shrink tubing to any live conductor or assembly. Use a calibrated heat gun to apply even heat; avoid open flame, which can cause uneven shrink or material damage. Follow applicable NEC guidelines for insulation and wiring protection in the specific application environment.
