The 3M 7010343750 is a red microprismatic reflective conspicuity marking tape designed for high-visibility safety applications on commercial trucks, trailers, and large vehicles. Built on 3M Diamond Grade sheeting technology, it uses a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing with a protective liner and premask layer to simplify field application. The tape ships as a single roll measuring 1 inch wide by 150 feet long, giving a single technician enough material to mark an entire trailer in one roll. At 1.9 pounds per roll, it is lightweight enough for easy handling on the job site. Installation does not require heat tools or special primers on most prepared surfaces.
This tape is intended for retroreflective conspicuity striping on the sides and rear of heavy trucks, flatbeds, semi-trailers, and other large commercial vehicles where DOT-compliant reflective marking is required. The pre-cut strip format and premask layer reduce installation time and help maintain straight, consistent lines during application. It is commonly applied by fleet maintenance technicians, truck body shops, and safety compliance crews performing DOT marking work.
Designed for conspicuity marking applications on the exterior surfaces of commercial trucks, semi-trailers, flatbeds, and other large vehicles requiring retroreflective safety striping.
Surface preparation is critical before applying pressure-sensitive reflective tape — clean and degrease the substrate thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before application. Apply firm, even pressure across the full width of the tape to ensure full adhesive contact, using a roller or squeegee where available. Remove the premask layer only after the tape is fully adhered. Follow applicable DOT regulations and vehicle safety marking standards for strip placement and pattern requirements.
