The 3M 7010333944 is a 5 mil acrylic adhesive transfer tape supplied on a printed release paper liner. It uses 3M 300LSE low-surface-energy acrylic adhesive, which delivers strong, lasting bonds across a wide range of similar and dissimilar materials including metals, most plastics, glass, paper, and painted surfaces. The tape is transparent and comes in a 1 inch wide by 60 yard roll. It is well suited for general-purpose attachment and assembly work in manufacturing, industrial, and OEM production environments where a clean, carrier-free adhesive layer is required.
This transfer tape is used in applications where components made of dissimilar materials must be bonded without mechanical fasteners. It performs on low surface energy substrates such as polypropylene (PP) and powder-coated surfaces that conventional adhesives struggle to grip. It meets a wide variety of automotive and OEM specifications, making it a practical choice for production-line assembly, panel bonding, nameplate attachment, and light industrial fabrication. Technicians and assemblers working with plastics, metal stampings, or glass components will find it appropriate for high-volume or precision bonding tasks.
Designed for general-purpose adhesive transfer bonding applications involving metals, most plastics, glass, paper, and painted or powder-coated surfaces in industrial and OEM assembly contexts.
Surface preparation is critical — clean all bonding surfaces to remove oils, dust, and contaminants before application. Remove the release liner and apply the tape to one substrate, then press the second substrate firmly against the exposed adhesive using consistent pressure to achieve full contact. Avoid stretching the tape during application, as this can reduce bond area and long-term adhesion performance. Follow applicable workplace safety guidelines when working with adhesive materials in enclosed or production environments.
