The 3M 7010333906 is an adhesive transfer tape designed for high-strength bonding across a wide range of industrial and trade applications. Built on 3M High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 350, this tape measures 12 inches wide and 60 yards long, with a total thickness of 5.0 mils. It is mounted on a tan, 58 lb. PCK polycoated kraft paper liner that resists moisture and minimizes wrinkling during handling. The adhesive is fiber reinforced to maintain roll stability in narrow-width cuts and prevent oozing under load. Licensed contractors, fabricators, and assembly technicians install this product in environments requiring a durable, low-odor bonding solution.
This transfer tape is well suited for bonding both high and low surface energy materials, including powder-coated paints and surfaces with moderate texture or roughness. It performs in applications where the bond must withstand elevated temperatures, chemical exposure, and mechanical stress over time. Typical use cases include panel assembly, sign fabrication, and industrial laminating where a clean, film-free adhesive layer is required. The tape is sold by the roll and is appropriate for both shop and field application scenarios where a semi-permanent or permanent structural bond is needed.
Designed for bonding high and low surface energy materials, including powder-coated paints and surfaces with moderate roughness, in industrial assembly and fabrication applications.
Surface preparation is critical before applying transfer tape — substrates should be clean, dry, and free of oils or contaminants. Apply firm, even pressure across the full bonded area to ensure proper adhesive transfer and contact. Power down or de-energize any electrical components on or near the bonding surface before application where applicable. Remove the liner cleanly and avoid repositioning once the adhesive contacts the substrate, as bond strength develops on initial contact.
