The 3M 7010333694 is a 5.0 mil acrylic adhesive transfer tape designed for bonding to a wide range of surfaces, including low-surface-energy (LSE) plastics, foam, and textured or rough substrates. Supplied on a 60 Densified Kraft liner, this tape delivers very high initial adhesion and strong resistance to humidity, water, solvents, chemicals, and UV exposure. High temperature resistance up to 250 degrees F makes it suitable for demanding environments. It serves as the thicker counterpart to the 3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 9471 and is a step up in adhesive thickness for applications requiring more aggressive bonding.
This tape is used across a variety of surface bonding applications in industrial, commercial, and assembly environments. Its 5.0 mil acrylic adhesive construction makes it well suited for attaching nameplates, gaskets, foam pads, and similar components to difficult-to-bond surfaces. The 60 Densified Kraft liner supports efficient die-cutting operations, making it a practical choice for fabricators and production line technicians who need consistent, repeatable results. Each roll measures 12 inches wide and 60 yards long.
Designed as a general-purpose adhesive transfer tape for bonding applications involving LSE plastics, foam, and textured or rough surfaces across industrial and commercial assembly settings.
Surface preparation is critical — clean bonding surfaces thoroughly to remove dust, oil, and contaminants before application. Apply firm, even pressure across the tape to ensure full contact and maximum adhesion. When die-cutting, the 60 Densified Kraft liner provides stable handling; use appropriate cutting equipment for the roll width. Allow adequate dwell time after bonding before subjecting the assembly to stress or elevated temperatures.
