Enhanced edge construction maintains flexibility and durability through the full belt width, making it well suited for deburring, blending, cleaning, and finish work on composites and softer metals. This belt is intended for use on flat surfaces where consistent, uniform contact pressure can be maintained. It performs best at average operating pressures and is a reliable general-purpose choice for surface prep on stainless steel, aluminum, and composite substrates. The aluminum oxide on RC material construction provides good cut longevity without aggressive stock removal, making it appropriate for blending weld seams, removing coatings, and conditioning surfaces before painting or powder coating in both production and job-shop environments.
Designed as a general-purpose surface conditioning belt for use on wide-belt sanders and stroke sanders operating with standard belt-drive configurations on composites and softer metals including stainless steel and aluminum.
Installation of abrasive belts should be performed by qualified shop technicians with the sander powered off and locked out per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Confirm belt tracking and tension per the equipment manufacturer guidelines before resuming operation.
