The 3M 7010330842 is a non-woven abrasive disc designed for light-duty blending, cleaning, deburring, and finishing on a variety of metal surfaces. The disc uses silicon carbide mineral carried in a tough, pliable nylon web construction. The open web resists loading, reducing debris buildup that can clog the abrasive and shorten disc life. A hook and loop backing mates to a compatible hook and loop holder pad on a random orbital sander, making disc changes fast during production work. This disc is suited for industrial maintenance, fabrication, and finishing operations where a controlled, consistent surface result is required.

This disc fits light-duty industrial and commercial metal finishing applications. Typical uses include blending weld seams, cleaning oxidation, deburring cut edges, and applying a uniform finish on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Compatibility

Designed for use with 6-inch hook and loop holder pads on random orbital sanding systems. The hook and loop attachment style is compatible with standard random orbital sanders accepting a 6-inch hook and loop pad. Holder pad sold separately.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by the operator running the sanding equipment and requires no special trade licensing. Before attaching or removing the disc, power off and unplug or lock out the sander per standard lockout/tagout procedures. Align the disc squarely to the hook and loop pad and press firmly to ensure full engagement before operating. Do not exceed the speed rating of the disc or pad assembly.
