The 3M 7010330829 is a non-woven nylon abrasive disc engineered for light deburring, surface cleaning, and final finishing on metal workpieces. Built on a high-strength open-web construction, the disc maintains stiffness under pressure without folding, tearing, or fraying. Aluminum oxide mineral provides sharp, consistent cutting action that produces a uniform scratch pattern across ferrous and non-ferrous metals. At 8 inches in diameter with a 1-inch arbor hole, it mounts directly to angle grinders, bench grinders, or right-angle disc tools used in fabrication and finishing workflows. The open web design resists loading, limiting debris buildup and extending service life compared to closed-coat alternatives.
This disc is suited for metal fabrication shops, maintenance and repair operations, and industrial finishing environments where light stock removal and surface prep are routine tasks. Typical applications include cleaning weld seams, removing mill scale, blending surface imperfections, and achieving a final polished appearance on metal parts. The disc is available in three grades to match the required level of aggressiveness: Coarse for more aggressive cutting, Medium for general-purpose work, and Very Fine for final finishing and polishing passes.
Designed for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in fabrication, maintenance, and finishing applications requiring light deburring, surface cleaning, or final finishing with a center-hole disc configuration.
Installation is performed by qualified metalworking or maintenance technicians. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or removing the disc. Verify that the arbor size and tool RPM rating are compatible with this disc before operation. Always inspect the disc for damage before each use and follow all applicable tool manufacturer safety guidelines.
