A phenolic resin backing plate cushions contact with the workpiece, dampening vibration and reducing operator fatigue during extended use. This flap disc suits a wide range of metalworking applications including surface blending, light grinding, and finish work on aluminum, steel, and titanium. It is well suited for angle grinder use in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and field service environments.
