The 3M 7010329169 is a Trizact 337DC abrasive belt designed for intermediate to final finishing in medium-pressure grinding and blending applications. Built on a durable X-weight cloth backing, it features aluminum oxide abrasive combined with a grinding aid that reduces friction and helps keep the workpiece cool during dry grinding. The macroreplicated abrasive structure organizes mineral into layered bricks separated by channels that continuously clear swarf from the work surface. This belt measures 132 inches in length and 3 inches in width and is sold individually. HVAC fabricators, metal fabricators, and maintenance trades use this belt for consistent, repeatable surface finishes on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This belt is suited for intermediate to final finish operations on metal components where surface consistency across the full belt life is critical. The controlled mineral breakdown characteristic of the Trizact structure means finish quality remains predictable from the first pass to the last. Applications include weld blending, deburring, and surface preparation on structural steel, stainless, and similar substrates. Its durability allows grinding and finishing to be completed in a single operation in many setups, reducing abrasive changeover frequency on wide-belt, stroke, or backstand equipment.
Designed as a replacement or production abrasive belt for wide-belt, stroke-belt, and backstand grinder configurations that accept a 132-inch by 3-inch belt. Verify machine belt-size specifications before ordering.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator familiar with abrasive belt equipment. Power down and lockout the machine before changing the belt. Confirm belt tracking alignment and tension before resuming operation. Follow the equipment manufacturer guidelines and applicable ANSI abrasive safety standards when mounting and running coated abrasive belts.
